Cedars Sinai

Cedars Sinai activation at SoFi Stadium
Previsualization in Unreal

It started with previsualization in Unreal engine to get a sense of size and where hardware fixtures would fall. It also let us preview how 3d, video, and still elements would look before the actual hardware was built.

Built element in place at SoFi Stadium

I created a system that would allow us to align elements to the frosted patterns in the glass.

Pixel alignment grid

I set up an image that let us see each LED and gave us a map of where elements needed to be shifted. We then used a series of keyboard shortcuts to align the elements on a subpixel level. Another shortcut saves the settings to an XML file for restarts and backup.

Pulse takeover

Once the still and video elements were aligned, they would seamlessly fit within the frosted pattern on the glass.

I also wrote a simple service manual for on-site support dealing how to put the activation in one of several modes.
